An unexpected turn of events

As planned, I went out yesterday to the Nottingham Contemporary to take a look around and catch up with an old friend. I regret to say that events took a turn for the worse. I ended up having to leave as quickly as possible feeling watched and possibly threatened. I will not go into too much detail about what happened after that, and in hindsight I may be overreacting, but it certainly unsettled me at the time.
A series of connected TFT memos and correspondence from Downing Street!
I put these together from shredded paper found in an envelope at the Nottingham Contemporary yesterday.
I think that right now, it would be for the best if I avoided going into any detail about their contents but I will say that they are quite disturbing. I also managed to find a contact number on another piece of paper which I eventually received a highly informative callback from. Again, I will not say too much right now and risk putting myself or any of my fellow agents in danger, but the threat posed by TFT's recent actions is very real. In fact, as I type this people may well be in danger.

If you live in the East Midlands and suddenly come down with any of the following (and can ideally rule out flu - particularly if you have already had a flu jab):
  • Fever;
  • Chills;
  • A persistent dry or mucus-producing cough;
  • Aching muscles;
  • Diarrhoea;
  • Any other symptoms typically associated with Legionnaire's disease;
I would urge you not only to seek medical attention, but to contact myself, AMBER or anyone associated with AMBER as soon as possible. (There are several AMBER contacts listed on the right column of this page.)

Hopefully, I will be able to tell you more soon but these are very uncertain times. Stay safe.

Until next time
-- John
